Annual DC Trip

The Harvard GSAS Science Policy Group annually organizes a trip to Washington, DC each Spring. We visit government agencies, non-profit organizations, think tanks, and media outlets that are involved in making, implementing, influencing, and communicating science policy. The goal of this trip is to help participants explore career paths in policy and government by introducing them to scientists and policymakers working on science policy and beyond. Applications for the trip generally open up in February.

Most of the expenses for the trip is covered: We cover transportation (flight/train and Metro) and group accommodations for three nights. Participants will be responsible for their food/drinks and all other personal expenses. We hope to read your application soon!
